Teagan Hamel is originally from the Los Angeles area and is currently based in Maine with her wife and two cats as the Wig and Makeup Shop Supervisor at the Ogunquit Playhouse. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Wig and Makeup Design at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. She also studied at and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design, Technology, and Management with minors in French Studies and Gender Studies from Wagner College in New York City. She is always looking to take part in innovative, whimsical, and unconventional pieces that are rooted in education, collaboration, and community. Her work displays a passion for the art of transformation and she designs with the understanding that the performance of appearance is crucial to successfully tell a story. Please reach out!
